Texas HVAC Claim and Verification Guide (Professional Draft)

Last updated: 2026-02-21

This guide is for Texas HVAC professionals who want to claim their profile. LicenseStatusVerify is an independent platform. Regulator records remain the source of truth.

Labeling Note

  • Platform label: HVAC
  • Official regulator label: Air Conditioning and Refrigeration

Claiming Your HVAC Profile

Claiming enables private tools (dashboard + reminders) and does not alter regulator records.

Claim states:

  • CLAIM_PENDING
  • VERIFIED
  • REJECTED

Public profile edits remain restricted until verification is complete.

Verification Expectations

You may verify by:

  • business email (preferred),
  • document upload (license card/renewal evidence),
  • escalation evidence path when needed.

For technician claims, verification should align with the correct level (Registered or Certified) and matching license details.

Continuing Education (CE)

Your credential may show a CE status:

  • CE Complete: You have met continuing education requirements.
  • CE Required: You need to complete CE for renewal.

CE status is pulled from regulator data. Contact TDLR directly if you believe your CE status is incorrect.

If Rejected

Common causes:

  • document unreadable,
  • license number mismatch,
  • name/business mismatch,
  • relationship to license holder not established.

Use the rejection reason, correct evidence, and resubmit. If you need help, contact our support team.

Document Upload Page (If Enabled)

Instructions:

  • Upload a clear photo or PDF showing your license number and name. Redact any sensitive information not required for verification.

Privacy notice:

  • Your documents are used solely for verification and are never shared outside LicenseStatusVerify.
