Terms of Use
Welcome to LicenseStatusVerify.com. These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding contract between you and Arch Harbor Group, LLC ("we", "us", "our"), the owner and operator of the LicenseStatusVerify.com website and services (collectively, the "Service").
BY ACCESSING OR USING THE SERVICE, YOU AGREE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, YOU MAY NOT USE THE SERVICE.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: SECTION 15 OF THESE TERMS CONTAINS A MANDATORY ARBITRATION PROVISION AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER, WHICH REQUIRES YOU TO RESOLVE ANY DISPUTES WITH US ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT AS PART OF ANY CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY.
1. The Service
The Service is a non-government verification utility that displays public licensing and credentialing information ("Public Data") sourced from official government regulators. We provide tools to search, view, and track this Public Data, along with timestamps and links back to the source where available.
2. Key Definitions
- "Consumer" means a user who accesses the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes, such as to verify a professional's license.
- "Professional" means an individual or entity whose Public Data is displayed on the Service and who may create an account to manage their profile.
- "User" means any visitor, Consumer, or Professional who accesses the Service.
- "User Content" means any information, text, or other materials you provide to the Service, such as information submitted when creating an account. User Content does not include Public Data.
3. Core Disclaimers
The regulator is the source of truth. The Service mirrors Public Data and, while we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that the information is complete, error-free, or up-to-date. We provide "last synced" timestamps to show data freshness. You must always confirm details with the official regulator before making any decision based on information from the Service.
The Service is not a substitute for legal, financial, or professional advice. We are not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and the data on the Service may not be used for determining an individual's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, or other purposes covered by the FCRA.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on the Service. If you are between the ages of 13 and 18, you may use the Service only with the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.
5. Professional Accounts and Paid Services
This section applies to Professionals who create an account.
- Account Creation: You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep this information updated. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Claiming a Profile: You may "claim" the public profile associated with your professional license. This allows you to use certain features of the Service. We may require you to provide evidence to verify your identity before a claim is approved.
- Paid Services: We offer optional subscription-based paid services ("Paid Services") for Professionals, which may include features like a "Verified" badge for your profile, enhanced alerts, or the ability to embed a verification widget on your own website.
- Payments and Billing: All payments for Paid Services are processed through our third-party payment processor (e.g., Stripe). You agree to their terms when making a payment. Subscriptions will automatically renew for the billing period you select unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your Paid Services at any time through your account dashboard. Your cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged for future periods. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
- Termination: We may suspend or terminate your access to Paid Services if you breach these Terms or fail to pay applicable fees.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or any purpose prohibited by the FCRA.
- Scrape, spider, or otherwise use automated means to access the Service in a manner that exceeds posted rate limits or violates any access policies.
- Misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Interfere with the proper working of the Service.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Arch Harbor Group, LLC and its licensors. Our trademarks and branding may not be used without our prior written consent.
By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, and display that User Content for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
8. Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services, including regulator portals. We do not own or control these sites and are not responsible for their content or policies.
9. No Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ARCH HARBOR GROUP, LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, AND SUPPLIERS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL ARCH HARBOR GROUP, LLC, ITS AFFILIATES, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE LICENSORS OR SERVICE PROVIDERS, BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR YOUR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100.00).
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Arch Harbor Group, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service, in our sole discretion, at any time and without notice or liability, if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings.
13. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make a material change, we will provide you with reasonable notice (e.g., by email or by posting a notice on the Service). Your continued use of the Service after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
